بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
Que périssent les deux mains d'Abû-Lahab et que lui-même périsse.
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
خسرت يدا أبي لهب وشقي بإيذائه رسول الله محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقد تحقق خسران أبي لهب.
Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed.
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Sa fortune ne lui sert à rien, ni ce qu'il a acquis.
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
ما أغنى عنه ماله وولده، فلن يَرُدَّا عنه شيئًا من عذاب الله إذا نزل به.
His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions.
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
Il sera brûlé dans un Feu plein de flammes,
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
سيدخل نارًا متأججة، هو وامرأته التي كانت تحمل الشوك، فتطرحه في طريق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؛ لأذيَّته.
Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
de même sa femme, la porteuse de bois,
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
سيدخل نارًا متأججة، هو وامرأته التي كانت تحمل الشوك، فتطرحه في طريق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؛ لأذيَّته.
along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales;
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
à son cou, une corde de fibres.
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
في عنقها حبل محكم الفَتْلِ مِن ليف شديد خشن، تُرْفَع به في نار جهنم، ثم تُرْمى إلى أسفلها.
upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre.
