بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ
Dis: «Je cherche protection auprès du Seigneur de l'aube naissante,
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
قل -أيها الرسول-: أعوذ وأعتصم برب الفلق، وهو الصبح.
Say: “I seek refuge with the Lord of the rising day;
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
contre le mal des êtres qu'Il a créés,
From the evil of that which He created
من شر جميع المخلوقات وأذاها.
from the evil of all that He created;
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
contre le mal de l'obscurité quand elle s'approfondit,
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
ومن شر ليل شديد الظلمة إذا دخل وتغلغل، وما فيه من الشرور والمؤذيات.
from the evil of night's darkness when it spreads around;
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ
contre le mal de celles qui soufflent [les sorcières] sur les nœuds,
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
ومن شر الساحرات اللاتي ينفخن فيما يعقدن من عُقَد بقصد السحر.
from the evil of the women who blow on knots;
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
et contre le mal de l'envieux quand il envie».
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
ومن شر حاسد مبغض للناس إذا حسدهم على ما وهبهم الله من نعم، وأراد زوالها عنهم، وإيقاع الأذى بهم.
and from the evil of the envier when he envies.”
