Guelmim, an azure town called the "Gateway to the Sahara", still hosts its famed Saturday camel souk — a legacy of trans-Saharan caravans. Sidi Ifni the former Spanish enclave, the wild Légzira beach with its natural arches, the Fask springs and the Tighmert oasis open onto vast blue and golden landscapes. First stop before the Far South.
